We received a wonderful thank you letter from from Operation Support Our Troops for our food and money collection. We collected $206.00 in spare change that was used to ship the packages to our troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Thank you to the PTO for organizing this service project and thank you to everyone who sent in change and food. Responses from some of the package recipients can be found at http://www.osotil.org/.
MATH AHOY
Last night the USS Ide took off for a night of Math Fun. Students visited different math "cabins" filled with fun activities ranging from board games and cards to bingo before docking for the night. Thank you again to the PTO for organizing this evening to celebrate Unplugged Week and to Mrs. Olsen, Mrs. Oliver, Mrs. Pellin and Mrs. Schultz for lending an oar!
